CarbonTrustMe was born out of the urgent need to end the lack of transparency in the carbon credit market.
With this vision, CarbonTrustMe began its journey with the support of Lausengier and Plant-for-the-Planet, a global NGO leading in reforestation and sustainability, and with strategic collaborations with governments and scientific institutions. The founding team, with experience in sustainability, technology, and finance, identified the main challenges in the sector:
